Md Nasir Uddin Howlader

President

Md Nasir Uddin Howlader is a dedicated community leader and public service professional currently residing in Surrey, British Columbia. With a diverse background in safety, security, community engagement, and nonprofit development, he has worked with various institutions including the Government of Canada, City of Calgary, YYC Calgary International Airport, and YQR Regina International Airport.


Nasir has also served in numerous volunteer and leadership roles, such as Board Member of Inclusion Regina, Volunteer Interpreter at Regina Open Door Society, and Volunteer Teacher at Bangla School of Regina, demonstrating his deep commitment to inclusion, education, and immigrant support.


His career spans roles in both public and private sectors—from Assistant Manager at Palli Karma-Sahayak Foundation (PKSF) in Bangladesh to safety, sales, and fulfillment positions across Canada. Academically, he holds BBA and MBA degrees from the University of Dhaka, and has pursued further studies at Saskatchewan Polytechnic and Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB). He is also the founder chairman of Habitat Development Trust (HDT) which is a registered charity organization in Bangladesh.


Originally from Pirojpur, Bangladesh, Nasir brings a global perspective and a strong dedication to building inclusive and sustainable communities in Canada.
